Episode 58 is a double on Space Academy and Jason Of Star Command!!!

Space Academy (1977)

The adventures of the young space cadets of Space Academy in the year 3732.

Commander  "Doctor Smith" Gampu is the leader of the academy.

Jason Of Star command (1978)

Jason was an officer of Star Command, which was located on the same asteroid as Space Academy.

Both have groundbreaking special effects and Sci Fi veterans in Jonathan Harris (Lost in Space ) and James Doohan (Star Trek) , what more could you want.

Blake's 7 (1978)

Episode 57 is all about Blake's 7 the cult BBC Sci-Fi show of 1978.

Blake's 7 was popular from its first broadcast, watched by approximately 10 million in the UK and shown in 25 other countries.

The Way Back

Former resistance leader Roj Blake witnesses a massacre and is subsequently framed for a series of fictional crimes by the totalitarian Federation.

Ark II

Episode 56 is about 1976 ARK II, Three young scientists and a talking Monkey journey acorss the land in the high tech vehicle Ark II.

The Starlost (1973)

Episode 55 we look at The Starlost ( okay we never heard of it either ).

This 1973 show stars Keir Dullea ( 2001's Dave Bowman ( this show is not full of stars )).

Foreseeing the destruction of the Earth, humanity builds a multi-generational starship called Earthship Ark, 50 miles (80 km) wide and 200 miles (320 km) long. The ship contains dozens of biospheres, each kilometres across and housing people of different cultures.

Star Cops (1987)

Star Cops is a BBC Show which is a mashup of Sci-Fi and detective show but try to be grounded in real science.

Star Cops is set in the year 2027—some 40 years into the future at time of broadcast—a time in which space travel has become common and mankind is in the process of exploiting and colonising the Solar System. There are five permanently manned space stations orbiting the Earth and there are bases on the Moon and Mars. Approximately 3,000 people are living and working in space.

Gerry Anderson's UFO

In episode 53 we talk about Gerry Anderson's UFO (1970 )set in the future of 1980's where them pesky aliens are attacking earth but for what reason ( to catch Pokemon or plant them ) will we ever find out.

UFO was the Andersons' first totally live-action TV series. Despite the assumption of many TV station executives, the series was not aimed at children but was intended for an older audience; many episodes featured adult themes such as adultery, divorce, and drug use. Most of the cast were newcomers to Century 21, although star Ed Bishop had previously worked with the Andersons as a voice actor on Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons.

Firefly

In our new episode we look at both of the Firefly pilots (Serenity and The Train Job).

Does a western sci fi work.....well yes it does even if you co host can't get his  tiny little brain around the idea.

Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century

Episode 51 we talk Buck Rogers.

Star Wars was a big hit so what could cash in on that none other than Captain William Anthony "Buck" Rogers.

Universal then opted to release the first Buck Rogers TV movie theatrically on March 30, 1979. Good box-office returns led NBC to commission a weekly series.

Episode 50 is a double one with" Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Electra woman and Dyna girl"

Stargate SG1

Episode 49 is Stargate SG1, the follow on from the Stargate movie 1994 where the series continues the adventure.

The plot of Stargate SG-1 picks up a year after the conclusion of the events recounted in the movie.

It follows the present-day adventures of SG-1, a military team from Earth. SG-1 and a dozen other SG teams venture to distant planets using a fictional alien portal known as a Stargate
